What the monthly work can include

We first assess accounting access, open periods, accounts, entities and reporting needs. If historical cleanup is needed, we separate that project from recurring monthly support. Once the starting record is dependable, we agree on the information your team provides, the review cadence and the deliverables you receive.
What shapes the scope and fee?
Transaction volume is only part of the picture. Multiple entities, incomplete records, job costing, payroll coordination and additional reporting all change the work. A written scope identifies what is included, what requires a separate project and which questions go to your accountant.

Can HELIOS work with our existing bookkeeper?
Yes. We can scope review, reporting or process support around an internal bookkeeper and accountant. The agreement identifies who prepares the record, who reviews it and who resolves outstanding questions.
Does this include tax preparation or an audit?
No. HELIOS is not a CPA firm. Tax advice, tax preparation, audits and assurance work remain with your qualified professionals. We organize the records and coordinate the agreed handoff.
Can this be delivered remotely?
Yes. Agreed bookkeeping and controller support can be delivered remotely across the United States, with a defined communication and reporting schedule.
